My First Month in Australia

I know everyone wants me to write, G'Day Mate; so there's the first and last one. I'm not Australian and I will never pretend I am. Although they are very cool people.

Ok - I'm still living out of a suitcase, which has been going alright, I stick my hand deep into my suitcase, pull something out, and that's what I wear that day.
At night, I stuff it back in, and behold. My process of dressing the last 2 weeks. (3weeks)
Thank the Lord , we move in Saturday to our new apartment. I am going to be living with a friend from high school, Ryan Findlay. We randomly found each other in the hotel on our first few days. SO WEIRD!! who finds a random high school friend on the other side of the world in the Southern Hemisphere??! Obviously me! We have a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom place, it is a corner apt. and a huge L-Shaped balcony; very posh. Probably the nicest place I'll ever live in. Ever.

Today is February 26th - our 2nd day of classes. We are in a Technology Class. Hence this blog. As if my first assignment is blogging? I love school!!!

- so now we are adding pictures... last weekend we went on a Surfing/Camping trip along Great Ocean Road...So this is me in Surf Class!!

- this is some of us at on a trail off Great Ocean Road. .. We also saw a red bellied black snake during this hike. .. the girl who was behind me hiking actually asked if I could move over so she could 'TAKE A PICTURE'. ...not unless you want me feed you to the snake sugar...

We also went down to Bells Beach... where the Rip Curl Pro International surf competition is held every weekend during Easter. We are planning a big road trip down there I think, since it's in a few weeks and only 2 hours away.
This is one of our trip leaders, I'm clearly looking at him bewildered. I'm amazed that Australians are very okay with being who they are. Seriously, I mean that in the nicest way... If they want to wear Boots with a bathing suit, they do it. whatever makes them feel like themselves....they are doing it. I love it.
If you thought I had my own unique style before. Wait till I come back!!!
